Welcome to our page about activities for young people.

Are you 8 - 19?

Want things to do in the school holidays? Want to get away for a while? Try new things, meet new people?

There are loads of things happening in your local area.

What kind of things can you do?

Circus skills, drama workshops, tall ship sailing trips, team challenges, jewellery making, narrow boat trips, DJ workshops, aromtherapy, archery, art, workshops, first aid training, go karting, horse-riding, rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, music workshops, dry slope ski-ing, multi-media workshops including radio, clay animation and pop videos.  You can do day activities, weekends and whole weeks away to try adventure activities.

Here's some pictures from previous activities and what young people had to say

"I feel a great sense of acheivement knowing that I've faced some of my fears."

"I've made new friends."

"I loved the power boat best and the worst part was leaving the centre, I wanted to stay longer."

"This has taught me the importance of group work - I used to be shy an did not have many friends, but now I like people around me."

"I am now more confident about trying other things that are new to me."

"I was proud of myself because I did stuff I never dreamt of doing - it really boosted my self esteem."

"I've never really enjoyed working in a team before, but the activities have shown me that problems can be solved so much quicker when you have input and help from other people."
