What is the Education Business Partnership?

The EBP at Connexions West of England:

• Supports the learning and achievement of young people through applied, enterprise and work-related learning
• Offers an information and brokerage service to employers and education providers
• Coordinates work experience (including health and safety inspections) across the West of England for young people pre-16
• Provides Professional Development Placement opportunities for teachers including workforce development for Diplomas
• Houses a comprehensive and updated bank of information about education-business link activity
• Maintains a database of employers and partners who are able to engage with schools to provide or support work-related learning and other relevant curriculum experiences for young people
