BBC Kick Off Trainee Reporters scheme 2011

BBC Kick Off Trainee Sports Reporters scheme replaces the former BBC Blast initiatives. It is an opportunity for budding sports reporters to learn the tricks of the trade in hands-on work experience that will enable them to build on their skills, providing fresh and exciting opportunities in the sports media.

The BBC are hosting summer sports placements though the BBC Kick Off Trainee Reporters scheme for people looking to build their skills in the media.

What is the BBC Kick Off Trainee Reporters Scheme?
 
BBC Kick Off Trainee Sports Reporters scheme replaces the former BBC Blast initiatives. It is an opportunity for budding sports reporters to learn the tricks of the trade in hands-on work experience that will enable them to build on their skills, providing fresh and exciting opportunities in the sports media.

There is opportunity to work alongside BBC staff to create content for BBC's local websites and radio stations, which will be important for their CV's and future career plans.

We keen for people to know that the BBC's doors are wide-open for their applications and ensure that as many people as possible have access to this information.

The application deadline is Sunday 5th June 2011 and there are 21 posts available around the country.
