Alternative Provision
Alternative Education Provision
From September 2011 Learning Partnership West is launching a full range of Alternative Education Provision for KS3 and KS4 students in Bristol, North Somerset, BANES and South Gloucestershire. The programmes are designed to complement the formal school learning of young people, to re-engage, motivate and achieve in their education.
Several of these programmes have been running for the past few years and have proven successful in engaging young people at risk of exclusion into learning and progressing into positive post 16 destinations.
Our staff are experienced in working with students and their families to identify and support young people to overcome their barriers, develop their social and academic skills which builds their confidence for the future. The programmes vary in their contact with Young People from part time, full time, 1:1’s, group session, specialist workshops, and can be tailored specifically to meet the requirements of the young people and the referring agency.
Young People are encouraged to develop their social and academic skills while working towards formal accreditation.
