Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service provides treatment for young people under the age of 18 whose use of drugs or alcohol causes them problems. The services provided include: assessment, advice and information, counselling and support, and referral for specialist treatment such as in-patient programmes if appropriate. They accept referrals from GPs, CAMHS, teachers, youth workers, parents/carers and self-referrals using the Request for Single Service forms.
