Careers Education & Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG)
Careers education, information, advice and guidance aim to help students develop the knowledge and skills to make successful choices, manage transitions in learning and move into work. A range of activities and facilities are included:
- Curriculum activities to explain 14-19 choices in education, training and employment
- Publications to explain choices, encourage informed decision-making and signpost to sources of information
- Access to software to encourage action planning - MyPlan4Life
- Careers software to help stimulate thought and provide information
- Work-related learning
- One-to-one guidance to develop and support individual choices
- Access to a Connexions Resource Centre/Young People's Information Point.
- Support for parents and carers.
