Public Transport | Cheaper Travel | Cycling | Travel Safely | Learning to Drive

Welcome to our page about travel and transport which will help you to get around safely, cheaply and quickly.

Walking is one of the best ways to get around - it’s free, environmentally friendly and keeps you fit and healthy.

There are special tickets and passes available for young people that can make travelling cheaper. If you are 16 and staying on in education you may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of up to £30 a week. This can help with travel costs. Find out more at www.ema.dfes.gov.uk
