Connexions is a youth support service for young people aged 13-19 (25 if they have a learning difficulty or a disability, or both). It offers every young person, whatever their circumstances, access to the best possible advice, guidance, information and support to ensure a smooth transition into adulthood, citizenship and working life. Services are delivered via a network of Connexions Personal Advisers. Every young person should have access to a Personal Adviser.
Connexions West of England works in partnership with a wide range of organisations that also work to help young people get the best from their lives. These organisations include youth services, schools and colleges, voluntary and community groups, education welfare services, training providers, police, local education authorities, youth offending teams, employers and the Learning and Skills Council.
Connexions West of England, along with their partners, works to ensure young people:
Connexions West of England provides services to young people in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (Filton and Kingswood). Each of these areas has a Connexions Centre where young people can access a range of information resources and speak to a personal adviser.
Connexions services are also available in schools, colleges and in other community settings like youth centres.
