Young People’s Charter

The Young People’s Charter states what young people can expect from Connexions West of England in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. This charter has been written with the help of young people from the area.

Connexions West of England offers you information, advice, guidance and support about any issue that might be affecting you.

You can get help by talking to a Connexions Personal Adviser. These are based in schools, colleges, Connexions Centres and in community settings like youth centres.

We will:

  • treat you with respect for who you are.
  • support you in getting your point of view heard.
  • encourage you to make informed decisions.
  • be caring and supportive.
  • be knowledgeable about things that are important to you.
  • work with you to get the services you need.
  • keep your information confidential, except when you choose to share it or if we think you are in danger. You are entitled to see any information we have about you.
